N.P. Sandra Danley

Hello! My name is Sandra Maribel Danley. I was born and raised in Laredo,Texas. I moved to San Antonio, Texas in 2016. I graduated from Martin High School in 2002. I pursued my career of nursing at Laredo Community College and then graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2006 at TAMIU- Laredo. I pursued my Graduate Master’s Program for Family Nurse Practitioner and graduated in 2012; TAMIU- Laredo. I worked at Laredo Medical Center in the Adult ICU unit as a nurse until 2015. I have been married to my husband of 7 years; Charles Danley Jr. We have 5 children; all boys; so our house is always loud and hyper!! I pursued my career in Nursing because I love taking care of people when they are sick. I had the opportunity to work in Pediatrics when I moved to San Antonio. Working with children has been definitely one of the most rewarding jobs I have ever done!. I see my patients as if they were my own children; and I can understand where they are coming from. While at work; I also like to help NP students with their Clinical Rotations and learn more about Pediatrics. Being a student at one time; I know how it is to not know much and then to learn. I am grateful for all the preceptors that have taken their time to show me and learn about the healthcare field! This is my way of giving back to the community! My hobbies include spending time with my children and teaching Sunday School at the church that I attend and am active in. I look forward to taking care of your child and listening to what is needed for them. Muchas Gracias!

N.P. Amanda Saenz

Hello y’all! As a native San Antonian, I am a fan of the Spurs, Missions (and the Flying Chanclas), celebrating Fiesta, eating all the tacos, and exploring the expanding Salado creek trails. I enjoy participating in local-traditional events throughout the community, visiting the library, and learning all I can about native plants and animals.  I received my nursing education starting through Northwest Vista Alamo Community College followed by UT Health Science Center, graduating from nursing school in 2010. As a board certified Pediatric Nurse Practioner, I have been providing primary care services for children and families since 2018. I have a background in premature babies having spent most of my nursing career in the NICU, as well as working with children in a surgical setting, caring for children with various congenital anomalies, developmental delays, who require medical equipment, and have ADHD or Anxiety. I most enjoy working with children and parents during well visits-reviewing` growth and development, guiding expectations for future stages of growth, and offering reassurance to parents of their child’s health. I aim to focus on improving communication styles between parents and their children, focusing on emotional regulation and growing confidence in a child’s ability to know how their own mind and body function. I look forward to meeting all our Viva families and working to keep everyone active and healthy!
